John B. Friedrichsen

John Friedrichsen was appointed to the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of FirstService Corporation in September 2002. John is responsible for the overall financial management of the Company, including external and internal financial reporting, budgeting, treasury and procurement of capital, managing relationships with shareholders and lenders. He is also closely involved in all corporate communications and capital allocation decisions. He joined FirstService as Vice President, Acquisitions in February 1998, a position that he held until May 2000 when he became Senior Vice President, Acquisitions.
Prior to joining FirstService, John was a Vice President with Ernst & Young Corporate Finance Inc. in Toronto, where he was responsible for advising companies on a range of corporate finance matters, including the raising of capital and acquisitions. Previously, John held senior positions in merchant banking and commercial and corporate banking at Canadian Corporate Funding Limited and National Bank of Canada. John is a Chartered Accountant and began his career with a predecessor of the chartered accounting firm KPMG, based in Toronto. John holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Windsor.
Douglas G. Cooke

Doug Cooke joined FirstService in 1995 as Controller, later assuming the position of Corporate Controller and Treasurer. In 2005, Doug was appointed Vice President. He is currently responsible for the Company`s external and internal corporate reporting and cash management functions.
Prior to joining FirstService, Doug was Senior Internal Auditor for Unilever Canada, a subsidiary of Unilever PLC, one of the world`s largest consumer product companies. Previously, Doug has held senior financial reporting positions within the retail and financial sectors. Doug is both a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst, beginning his career with KPMG. Doug holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto.
Jay S. Hennick

Jay Hennick, is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation. Jay was a partner with the law firm Fogler, Rubinoff LLP prior to taking up his full-time position with the Corporation in 1995. In 1998, Jay was awarded Canada's Entrepreneur of the Year and named Canada's CEO of the Year in 2001 by Canadian Business Magazine and in 2011, Jay also received an honorary Doctorate of Laws from York University. Jay currently serves as the Chairman of Mount Sinai Hospital, in Toronto and is the immediate past Chair of The Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation Board of Directors. In addition, he has endowed the Jay S. Hennick JD-MBA Program at the Faculty of Law and School of Management at the University of Ottawa Law School, his alma mater, and The Hennick Centre for Business and Law, a joint program of the Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business at York University.
D. Scott Patterson

Scott Patterson was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of FirstService Corporation in September 2003. Scott is responsible for the execution of the Company's operating strategy. Scott manages the strategic planning process, operating management effectiveness and best practices, all focused on driving internal growth in the business units. He joined FirstService in 1994 as Vice President Corporate Development and was responsible for executing the firm`s acquisition strategy. From 1995 to 2003 Scott held the office of Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to FirstService, Scott was a Vice President at Banker Trust where he was involved in the execution of merger, acquisition, divestiture and financing transactions in Toronto. Scott is a Chartered Accountant and began his career at PriceWaterhouse. In 2008, Scott achieved designation as a LEED AP. Scott holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario.
In 2007 Scott was named COO of the year by Canadian Business Magazine.
Elias Mulamoottil

Elias Mulamoottil was appointed Senior Vice President Strategy & Corporate Development in March 2011. He is responsible for executing FirstService`s acquisition strategy as well as the formulation and implementation of its corporate strategy. Elias joined FirstService in June 2007 as Vice President Strategy & Corporate Development.
Prior to joining FirstService, Elias was a partner at Blair Franklin Capital Partners, a Toronto based financial advisory and asset management firm, where he was responsible for the sourcing and executing of merger, acquisition, divestiture and financing transactions. Previously, Elias worked with one of Europe`s leading private equity firms, Terra Firma Capital Partners, in London, England executing and managing private equity investments. He has also held senior corporate development positions at Newcourt Credit Group and The TSX Group. Elias is a Chartered Accountant and began his career at Deloitte & Touche. Elias holds a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Waterloo.
Neil D. Chander

Neil was appointed to the position of Vice President, Tax in January 2010, and is responsible for tax compliance, tax accounting, and tax planning, as well as advising on structuring, financing and due diligence of acquisitions and divestitures by FirstService and its worldwide operating companies. He joined FirstService in 2004 as Director, Tax Planning & Compliance.
Prior to joining FirstService, Neil was Senior Tax Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Mississauga, where he managed large multi-national clients. Neil started his corporate tax career at Deloitte & Touche after articling with BDO.
Neil is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Public Accountant, and holds a Master of Accounting and Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo. He has also completed all levels of the CICA In-depth Tax Courses, and is a member of the Tax Executive Institute and Canadian Tax Foundation.
Christian Mayer

Christian Mayer is responsible for FirstService's external and internal financial accounting, reporting and analysis functions. In addition, Christian advises on a wide range of corporate finance and development transactions and oversees transactions with the company.s minority equity partners. Christian joined FirstService in 1999.
Christian is a Chartered Accountant and began his career with the accounting firms Grant Thornton and PricewaterhouseCoopers, both in Toronto. Christian holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Jeremy Rakusin

Jeremy Rakusin joined FirstService Corporation in September 2012 as Vice President, Strategy & Corporate Development. In this role, Jeremy is responsible for sourcing and executing FirstService's acquisition strategy, as well as assisting in other corporate strategic and growth initiatives.
Prior to joining FirstService, Jeremy was Mergers & Acquisitions Head at Raymond James Ltd. with responsibility for leading the firm's domestic and cross-border M&A practice. Jeremy's investment banking experience also includes more than 10 years in the Mergers & Acquisitions Groups of Merrill Lynch (now Bank of America) and TD Securities. Other career experience includes positions as a portfolio manager at a Toronto-based discretionary investment firm and as a securities and corporate lawyer at Toronto-based Goodmans LLP. Jeremy earned his Law and MBA joint degrees from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario. He is also a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
